When you see the https:// in front of your URL it means your website is secure.

We are actively installing https on sites we host that use e-commerce or content management systems. We recommend that all hosted websites have SSL installed even if you do not use e-commerce. Google and other search engines tend to punish unsecured sites so page ranking will suffer. That doesn't mean the having https: in front for your URL will get on the first page of Google, but it should help your ranking. It also conveys to your visitors that you care enough about their online security that you have decided to secure your website.
